State College Friends School looks for students
who will benefit from our instructio nal style and who will contribute
positively to the life of the school community. We seek families
who are supportive of our Quaker values and our educational goals.
Friends School is committed to building and maintaining a community
that is diverse and inclusive with regard to race, ethnicity,
gender, creed, family structure, and economic background.
Families interested in enrollment should contact our office
to request an application and schedule a visit. We recommend
that applications for fall enrollment be submitted between September
1 and February 1 of the preceding school year. Applications
received during this period are considered as a group, and those
received later are considered if space is available. The number
of openings at each grade level is determined after the re-enrollment
of current students occurs in March.
When the number of applicants exceeds the number of spaces
available, students are placed in a waiting pool. Should a space
become available, a waiting pool candidate will be selected
based on the needs of the class. |
